Glee: 1x09 "Wheels"

I'm catching up on the Glee episodes I missed today. I should probably be working on revising my english paper, but I'm not. I wanted to do a marathon of the episodes from beginning to end because I know there are several where I missed bits in the beginning and the end and the middle, but I haven't been able to find a website with all of them yet. And it turns out that I didn't miss as many full episodes as I thought I did. Just everything after episode 8 until last night's episodee, so I'm starting at episode 9 ("Wheels") and watching everything after that.

Glee 1x09 (Wheels)

Oh my God, I love this episode so frikkin' much! Here are some thoughts I had as I watched it.

1. I think Quinn needs to start taking some responsiblity for the medical payments. She can't just expect to shove this all off on Finn and treat him like a complete failure. That's just really bitchy, IMO. Especially when she's lying to him about who the father is.

2. OMG Kurt! So much love! <33 "I have an entire iPod dedicated to songs from Wicked!" I love him so very much. And he looked so disappointed when he heard the part was being given to Rachel. I just wanted to give him a hug. And, wow, could the rest of Glee Club be any more insensitive to Artie? I mean, damn!

3. Artie singing "Dancing with Myself" and dancing in his wheelchair is just awesome. :D

4. Poor Kurt. :( At least he tried, and I don't think it's entirely fair for Will to just write him off like that. Unless he's concerned about Kurt being teased for singing a role originally created to be sung by a woman. But if that's the case, he should just come right out and say that.

5. "Well, you're irritating most of the time but don't take that personally." OH, SNAP! GO ARTIE, GO ARTIE! *DANCES*

6. Oh, Will, just put down the smack down! "You'll be spending three hours a day in a wheelchair." Nice. ;)

7. I love how everyone keeps getting smacked in the face w/ things while they're in their wheelchairs. Not because it's really all that funny, but because it's a sort of take-that! for being so insentive to Artie.

8. "For my kid." Ouch, poor Puck. On the other hand, Puck/Quinn is soooooo cute! <33 Too bad Finn walked in on them. Honestly, I like Finn, but I want Puck to end up with Quinn. He's so focused on trying to make sure that Quinn and their baby are taken care of in this episode; it's adorable. And he had a point about Finn. Even though, he only had $18 dollars, he was at least trying to get her as much money as he could, whereas Finn hadn't gotten her anything yet.

9. OMG the whole conversation between Kurt and his father! I just loved it so much! <333 They're just so adorable in their interactions. The look on his father's face when he said, "It's not a guy, is it? I'm not ready to have that conversation yet." And even more so when Kurt said, "At least you don't have to worry about me getting anyone pregnant." The awkward silence that followed was just great! :3

Kurt's father just had so many great lines. One of my favorite's was: "You sing like a girl! ...You know, in a good way."

10. "Everyone knows that I'm more popular than Rachel. And I dress better." OH GOD, KURT, I LOVE YOU.

11. "I'm about to projectile express myself all over your hush puppies." Sue. <33

12. Go, Puck! Way to call Finn out on his bitchiness! This also makes me feel even worse for Puck about how Quinn is treating him.

"I'm stressed about the bake sale! I really like Artie, that's all!" Puck/Artie slash waiting to happen.

13.Artie teaching them all how to dance in a wheelchair! I LOVE IT! <3

14. "I want to be very clear: I still have the use of my penis." Oh, Artie. <3

15. Poor Kurt. :( I'm glad his father told him to go for the part anyway, despite the phone call. But what's even more sad is that he blew the note. He has a wonderful voice, and I personally prefered his preformance over Rachel's. On the other hand, I can understand why he would do that.

16. "Maybe she has a brain tumor?" LOL, oh, Will.

17. I'm disappointed that Tina's been faking her stutter, and I feel so bad for Artie. They were really cute together too. I hope they fix this. :(

18. Oh, Sue. I think her and her sister are going to make me cry. Why must everyone be so damn adorable and/or heartbreaking in this episode?

19. I absolutely love the interactions between Kurt and his father this episode. And the line "I'm saying I love you more than I love being a star" was just amazing. It's really cute how even though they don't always understand each other (in particular, Kurt's father understanding him) they try to be there for each other to the best of their ability.

I wanted to turn this into a coherent post and not just a list, but I couldn't. Maybe next episode?
