All Caught Up on Glee :)
I just got done catching up on Glee. Damn, I missed a lot. At the same time, a lot more about the Sectionals episode makes sense. I don't have it in list form this time, thankfully. I managed to condense everything I loved about these episodes into a couple paragraphs this time.
1x10 ("Ballad")
I loved it when Finn picked Kurt's name out of the hat for the ballads, and that that one kid was just called "other asian". Also, Santana seemed a little bit too happy to get Brittany. ;) And I loved everyone's thoughts during Will and Rachel's ballad's, especially Will's thoughts.
Some of my favorite things in this episode were Kurt and Finn's interactions, the Pepper story and Rachel's crush on Will and how freaked out he was over it. First, the Kurt and Finn BFFness of the episode. <3 For some reason I just thought it was both hilarious and adorable that (for this episode at least) the gay kid with great fashion and the jock were totally BFF. I can't really tell you why this made me so ridiculously happy, but there's just something about one guy ironing his designer clothes while giving another guy a pep talk on how to tell his girlfriend's parents that he impregnanted their daughter that I just find amazing. XD Not to mention when Finn invited Kurt over to help him pick out clothes. That was just pure win in my book.
One of my favorite lines this episode was, "I have to go, they'll think I'm pooping!" Just the look on Kurt's face as he's ironing his tie. XD
The other thing I loved was the Pepper story. It was just so over the top and fantastic. The confrontation between Pepper and Rachel went down much differently than I thought it would. I thought Pepper would still be a creepy stalker kind of person. I much prefered her telling Rachel to get over it for her own good.
I also loved how freaked out Will was over Rachel's crush on him, and how she completely missed the point of his song to her.
But, damn! Quinn's parents are cruel. :( I'm glad that Finn's mom is way more cool about it. And speaking of Finn's mother...
Finn's mom: "Were you just singing to a sonogram?"
Finn: "Uh...yeah."
1x11 ("Hairography")
I loved Kurt this episode. Just his remarks about Rachel were so win in my book. I don't even know what it was exactly. Probably because he's just brutally honest and Rachel's so irritating a lot of the time.
I loved that Quinn decided to keep the baby, and the plan that Terri cooked up with her sister to make her want to give it up again totally backfired. I also loved the Quinn/Puck interaction in this show, and I was totally shipping them up until the point where Puck said that he would sleep around on her because that's just who he was. He lost all sympathy points with me then.
I'm glad Will decided to cut the Hairography at the end; I really hated it.
1x12 ("Mattresses")
"Oh, Sue, did someone finally punch you?" Emma, I love you. You're awesome. <3
I loved seeing all the doodles on previous years Glee Club yearbook photos.
And HOLY CRAP, Will's scary when he's enraged! D8 And I have to say that while part of me loves Sue for being such an evil bitch, part of me wants to slap her at the same time. ALSO, Quinn is amazing.
