Oh, god you guys, this episode is killing me. I watched it last night, but I just couldn't form a coherent response.
I felt so bad for Sam having to deal with that tough court case, and then having to deal with Cat lying to her about Frankie on top of that. And, in addition, Frankie calls her in to clean up her mess. I totally understood why Sam was so pissed; I would have been too, being forced to vouch for my girlfriend's self-absorbed ex.
Also, Frankie! Oh my God. :( Her whole world seems to be falling apart right now. Everything she thought she knew about herself, right down to her fucking name is turning out to be a lie. And the one person she loves and depends on most is in a happy, stable relationship with someone else. It hurts my heart, you guys. :<
I feel bad for Tess too, being constantly reminded of--and constantly reminding herself of--Lou. Especially the part in the beginning where she sees the newspaper headline and photographs, and Frankie puts her arm around Tess's shoulders and pulls her against her side and is all "come here, it'll be okay." THESE PEOPLE ARE KILLING ME IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. T_T
Also, I really love Sam, you guys. I love the way she knew that Cat was lying but didn't say anything. She just waited for Cat to tell her, and while she was understandably angry, she made her point and let it go.
We've got two more episodes to go before this is over. I really, really hope they get a second season. I don't know what I'll do with myself if they don't. T_T
