Okay. So I've finished all my finals. Hopefully I passed my math final so I can graduate and don't have to go to summer school. ONE MORE DAY. ONE MORE DAY AND A HALF. AND THEN I CAN LAUGH AT MY BROTHER WHEN HE STILL NEEDS TO GET UP TO GO TO SCHOOL AND I CAN SLEEP IN. :D WHY MUST WE EVEN GO TO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY?
Kerri was sad today because of it. She hugged me and said, "I won't get to see you much once you leave!"
To which I said, "Well, you know, if you go to church more you'll see me a lot more often."
To which she replied: "...Oh. Yeah, you're right."
I just finished the first season of Xena and OMG! I LOVE THIS SHOW! When Gabrielle thought Xena was dead and she started attacking a tree with her staff screaming, "NO," I thought I was gonna cry. And then she risked her life to get Xena's body back all because Xena had asked her to take her body home if she died. GABRIELLE WAS TOTALLY BAD ASS IN THAT FIGHT.
And when Gabrielle froze in a fight, and Xena had to save her, and Gabrielle told her that she was a liability and Xena said, "I think I can risk that." And then Gabrielle said, "I can't." And the whole conversation that followed. D: Gabrielle was all "I need to go home, I can talk to my sister about this" and Xena said, "And you can't talk to me." SHE LOOKED SO HURT, GUYS. And then she looked so hurt and concerned and confused and then Gabrielle left. And when Gabrielle ran into those guys again, Xena was there to help her because SHE WAS GOING TO CHECK UP ON GABRIELLE.
Also drugged!Gabby and her invisible choir. YES PLZ. And Xena's so exasperated and everything.XD
And Gabrielle standing up to evil!Xena. OMG I MUST KNOW MORE ABOUT WARLORD!XENA AND WHY XENA SEEMED TO BE ABLE TO SLIP IN AND OUT OF THIS PERSONA. IS WARLORD!XENA A SEPARATE PERSONALITY OR SOMETHING?? @_@
CALLISTO. FUCK YES. And Xena telling Gabrielle that she might revert back to warlord!Xena if anything happened to Gabrielle and Gabrielle saying, "Promise me you won't turn into a monster. The only way to stop the cycle of revenge and hatred is with love and forgiveness" and Xena saying, "Don't ever change, I like you the way you are. Now go to bed." AND GABRIELLE GRABBING XENA'S ARM AND MAKING HER PROMISE NOT TO BECOME A MONSTER IF SHE'S HURT, AND XENA PROMISING AND ALKDJFLDFDIFJSIDFDFKKDF;SIFDVNDNOI!!!
AND THEN GABRIELLE DYING AND XENA FREAKING OUT AND OMG THERE ARE NO WORDS AND NO LETTERS BIG ENOUGH TO DESCRIBE MY LOVE OMFG SO I WILL INCOHERENTLY POUND ON MY KEYBOARD IN A FLAILING MANNER LIKE SO: ALDKNFODNVAJFAWERF93R[-93IDE

...and I've been loving it. I was babysitting for a woman at my church, Jess, and her daughter was watching Xena (well, before she took me outside to meet her friends and they STARTED THROWING THINGS AT ME ;__;) and it looked interested so I found the episodes on Graboid Video and started watching them yesterday. I just finished episode six and I love this show. ^3^
I think my favorite thing about it is the interaction between Xena and Gabrielle. When Xena was standing in her brother's crypt and said, "It's hard to be alone" and Gabrielle was like, "You're not alone," I was like "DLKFJDFKADF*FREAKFLAIL*!!" And then it happened again when Xena asked Gabrielle if she ever missed her family, and Gabrielle said, "Sometimes, but less when I'm with you."
Also:
"XENA CAN WE KEEP IT?"
"WTF IT'S A BABY!"
And:
"YOU WOULD'VE DONE THE SAME FOR ME."
"THAT'S DIFFERENT."
"O RLY?"
And then when Xena freaks out and ends up hitting Gabrielle, and then Gabrielle comes back like nothing happened, and Xena's all like, "I hit you" and Gabrielle's like "You weren't yourself" and then later Xena's like, "You don't know how much it meant to me you came back" and I'm like "ALDKFLDKJFDJFJDFJSDF! *IS DEAD*"
Oh, yeah, and there are cool sword fights and all that too. I liked the scene when she's fighting Draco in the first episode and the first one to hit the ground dies so Draco starts stepping on people's heads when he falls off the scaffolding. And then people are like "YOU CAN STEP ON MY HEAD XENA THAT OTHER GUYS HEAD IS NOT WORTHY OF YOUR GREATNESS."
And...yeah. That's all I've got to say about that right now. *scrambles off to watch more Xena*
