The series finale of Monk premiered last night. I'm sad that Monk is over, but at the same time, I love how it ended. Monk was truely happy for the first time, and it was hopeful that he would be able to overcome some of his problems so that he could have a more normal and happy life.
It's just weird to think that a show I've watched for so many years, even if I haven't always watched it faithfully, is over.

Date: 2009-12-05 05:43 pm (UTC)From:I liked that it ended happily for Monk, but part of it was kind of of underwhelming to me. Namely, the reason Trudy died. An affair and secret baby? Really? I don't know what I had expected, but that wasn't really it, I guess.
It is weird that it's over now, though. I pretty much grew up with Monk.
