When Women Were Warriors
Apr. 10th, 2011 06:18 pmI just finished reading the trilogy When Women Were Warriors at 3AM last night, and I have to say I don't think I've ever had as much satisfaction from a book series ever. It certainly didn't hurt that 95% of the main characters and the major players in the novels were women and the vast majority of the major women characters were lesbians (or bisexual depending how you care to read it). Tamras, the main character, was incredibly unique, in my opinion. The story lines were tightly woven, and at the end all had been wrapped up. I found the world imaginative and just...
You guys. You guys. This is a fucking awesome trilogy. I seriously just want to start reading it again but I keep stopping myself since I just finished reading it. I don't know why I'm doing that, though. It's weird.

Also, I started rewriting the beginning of Dusk Friday (or was it Thursday?) to something I might be happier with. I wrote 616 words today. I might write some more later.
